As a Senior Engineer in Mechanical Product Design & Engineering, you will transform conceptual designs, approved by clients, into final engineering outputs. Your role will involve close collaboration with diverse teams to ensure all requirements are meticulously captured in technical drawings and that projects meet deadlines.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Design Development: Create final engineering designs for Surface Wellhead and Tree systems that align with client needs, leveraging established technologies and solutions.
- Technical Documentation: Produce detailed designs, machine drawings, stack-up drawings, Bills of Material, and engineering part information, while leading system integration testing and field installation procedures compliant with industry standards (API 6A).
- Project Management: Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables, maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Analytical Leadership: Oversee analytical and design activities, utilizing proven methodologies and a comprehensive understanding of the design process.
- Technical Guidance: Provide support and conduct reviews of engineering deliverables produced by team members.
Ignite Your Passion
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Petroleum preferred).
- At least 7 years of experience in Design Engineering, specifically for Surface Pressure Control Equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of API 6A, API 16A, and NACE MR0175 standards.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience creating 3D models and 2D machine detail drawings using CAD software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with effective leadership capabilities.
- A proven track record in problem-solving and project coordination.
- Familiarity with engineering and drafting standards, codes, and regulations relevant to your work.
