Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to join our Project team. This crucial role involves managing all documentation exchanges between contractors and ensuring compliance with project specifications. You will play a key part in the successful delivery of project documentation, supporting team members in their document-related tasks, and serving as the primary point of contact for documentation management.
Key Responsibilities
- Documentation Management: Implement and oversee the Documentation Management System for contractors, providing guidance on rules and procedures in collaboration with the Document Control Leader.
- Daily Operations: Utilize Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) for tasks such as registering contractor documents, managing transmittal sheets, and facilitating the document review process.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all contractor-issued documents align with project specifications, providing feedback and rejecting non-compliant documents when necessary.
- Reporting: Gather and report relevant project information, maintaining accurate records of all documentation.
- Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality standards in all documentation-related activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited university.
- Experience: Minimum of [specific years] in Oil & Gas offshore projects, with expertise in Electronic Documentation Management Systems.
- Skills: Strong team player with fluency in English. Experience in the Middle East is a plus.
