Key Responsibilities
As the Engineering Officer Part Master, your expertise will be essential in:
- Part Data Management: You will define and manage the Part Number Master within AMOS, directly influencing operations and regulatory compliance.
- Mandatory Parameters Setup: Ensure that all parts are configured with essential parameters—such as Parts Category, ATA, OEM code, and Shelf life—according to industry standards.
- Effectivity and Interchangeability: You will establish the correct effectivity and interchangeability for all parts, ensuring seamless operations.
- Data Accuracy: Regularly review and refine the part master data to maintain its accuracy and relevance for airworthiness and material management.
- Component Assembly Structure: You will oversee the review, update, and definition of component assembly structures within AMOS.
- Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with CAMO, Technical Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders to guarantee precise part definitions in AMOS.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to ensure part availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Assist in identifying and resolving any discrepancies in part data.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance part data management systems and processes within AMOS.
- Regulatory Compliance: Uphold compliance with CAR M regulations, CAR X (SMS), and other relevant requirements.
- Safety Support: Contribute to Etihad Airways’ Safety and Quality initiatives and support auditing programs and safety investigations.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, or an aircraft engineering license.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Continued Airworthiness Management Organization, with a strong focus on Part Master.
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations and requirements.
