Key Responsibilities:
As a Junior Accountant, your main tasks will include:
- Financial Record Management: Assist in maintaining precise financial records, handling both accounts payable and receivable.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with established accounting standards.
- Transaction Processing: Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring all actions comply with internal policies.
- Tax Preparation: Aid in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory reports.
- Monitoring Transactions: Oversee financial transactions, ensuring accurate recording in Tally ERP.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Assist in audits and help resolve financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Management Reports: Prepare periodic financial reports for review by senior management.
- Closing Financial Periods: Support the senior accountant during the closing of financial periods and year-end reports.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and maintain internal controls.
Essential Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of accounting experience (experience gained in your home country is welcome).
- Proficiency in Tally ERP is highly desirable.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.
Skills Required:
- Strong ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, financial statements, and bank reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail paired with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational abilities with a knack for multitasking and effective time management.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
